Francis started working alongside his father in 1968, when he was 11 years old.
He started as a laborer, and through the years has worked as a carpenter, foreman,
site superintendent, estimator and project manager.
In 1996, the Iacobucci family successfully sold their home building company
to the publicly traded Fortress Group, where he became the Division President
for Pennsylvania and New Jersey operations. Later, in 2002, Fortress Group sold their
Iacobucci Homes division to Baker Companies of Pennsylvania, where Fran
continued his work as their Division Manager.
Since 1980, Francis as a member of the Iacobucci Organization team assisted in
developing, building, and selling over 6000 single family
homes, town homes, condominiums, apartment complexes, and commercial/industrial
complexes. He helped lead his team to winning many industry honors, including multiyear
listings among the nation's Top 400 Builders, national awards for best communities,
and numerous local awards for building and sales achievements.
Francis now serves as President of Francis Iacobucci Properties, where he continues
his family's tradition of excellence in the industry, bringing his expertise and
experience in property management, land development and home building to today's
challenging environment. He is familiar with the intricacies of the building process,
and with the various components of approval procurement, permitting, site planning,
topography, infrastructure design, environmental regulation, and home construction.
His numerous industry leadership activities include:
Francis attended Wesley College and Villanova University, and still continues his education
through classes, workshops and seminars on industry issues, including Pennsylvania
Real Estate Licenses courses, training courses for the Multicultural buyer,
Value Engineering seminars, Erosion and Sediment DEP, Dirt and
gravel road training and several other construction and commercial property
educational classes.
He served for many years on the Board of Trustees of the West Chester Friends School
and was a

his wife, Karen, have four children and two granddaughters, and are longtime residents
